The Library Board provides guidance and support to the Librarian/Director in matters relating to the operations of the library, such as establishing policies, creating rules and guidelines, and formulating budgets.  Board members take an active role in being advocates for the library and provide reports to the Governor and Tribal Council regarding their activities. Library Board members are appointed by the Governor and Tribal Council and are supported by an official tribal ordinance detailing their responsibilities.  The board consists of seven members: Member, three-year term Member, three-year term Member, three-year term Member, two-year term Member, two-year term Student member, two-year term Student member, two year term The Board selects from its membership, a president, vice president, and a secretary.  They meet  the last Thursday of every month and may call other meetings as needed.  If you are intersted in serving on the library board, please contact the Librarian.
